What kind of town is Shibuya?

I think this is a city where rough stones with potential are hidden in the shadows of chaos.

What are your memories of Shibuya?

Four years ago, when we were high school students, I had dinner for the first time with Sumi Aika, a member of Bungei Tengoku (Bungei Heaven), which is the core of my activities, and Shibuya was the place that led to our formation. We were looking for a restaurant, but being unfamiliar with the city, we got lost and ended up circling Center Street three times.

What are your memories of your favorite spots?

I love tea, but there are not many tea stores in the city center. I found Kenyan by chance and went in. The milk tea called “Chaimi Tea” is delicious. And of course, the food is great too.

What do you expect from Shibuya in the future?

I want the city to be a city where chaos accepts all further chaos as it is, without seeking superficial beauty.
